CHRIS DUNN
Joe McNeil
Joe is the main character throughout the series. He is a drummer in a band with two of his friends from school but when he starts hearing a high pitched noise, his world is turned upside down. Joe is confident, slightly cocky, he tries to be funny, Other people find him easy to talk to and on the outside he seems happy even though he is in a lot of pain on the inside.
Chris recently graduated from Queen Margaret University with a degree in drama and performance. Since then he has worked on numerous short films with the RCS, SAE Institue and Screen Academy Scotland.
JAMES MUNRO
Michael Pearce
Michael is the lead singer and guitarist in a band with Joe and David. He is very confused about his sexuality and does not tell anyone that he slept with a guy who he met on a night out. He is liked by almost everyone and he is always up for an adventure.
James recently played one of the leads in the final production of the citizens theatre Glasgow before it's closure for renovation. He has played the lead in many musicals including Grease and Fame however PAUSE was his screen acting debut.
ADAM RHAZALI
David Anderson
David plays bass guitar in the with Joe and Michael. His is in a long term relationship with his girlfriend Katie and he lives at home with his mum. His mum's ex boyfriend is currently in jail and they are both very scared for him to get out as his very abusive. David is quite shy, and mysterious and does not talk about what is happening in his life.

Since joining the film industry Adam Rhazali has taken on many roles in front of the camera from being apart of a Government campaign for St Andrews Day to taking on the lead role of Rio in BBC's Logan High. He hopes to continue building his portfolio and working on new and exciting projects in the future.
MANDY ALEXANDER
Freya McNeil
Freya is Joe's mum. She is very kind and caring and gets very worried about her son.
Mandy fell into acting whilst she was looking to rediscover herself and rebuild confidence. She has subsequently met a lot of wonderful, creative people and has found herself working on short films, adverts and auditioning for stage plays. She feels very lucky to have enjoyed such a variety of working both on large productions for television and smaller projects which often provide even greater opportunity for personal growth.
Scott Ian Robertson
Tobias (Toby) McNeil
Tobias is Joe's dad. He is very loud and outgoing and tries to cheer up his family when they are struggling with something.
Scott moved from predominantly performing on stage to film and TV a years ago. He has had various supporting roles in Netflix and BBC productions as well as lead and supporting roles in film.
ALEXANDRA MURRAY-REYNOLDS
Holly Jamieson
Holly is Joe's crush from school. She is very good friends with all the members of the band and is also very close with Katy. Holly is very pretty and liked by almost every single person she meets.
Alexandra is a Scottish actor known for her raw, emotional performance and cinematic presence. She has been training intensively to hone the skill-set required to not only captivate audiences, but to guide them through important issues that are neglected ion society.
CLAIRE HUBSMITH
Katie Marshall
Katie is Michaels girlfriend. She is friends with everyone in the band and is also best friends with Holly. Katie is quiet, shy, kind innocent and extremely clever.
Claire is a Scottish actress who trained in musical theatre at the Dance School of Scotland. She is currently looking to transition from stage to screen and is fascinated by what goes on behind the camera. She hopes to communicate with audiences on a deeper level and loves that she is in an industry where you are learning and growing constantly.
HENRY MUIR
Joe McNeil (Young)
We see a younger version of Joe in a flashback to his childhood. At this point, Joe is very loving towards his mum and dad and already has a dream of becoming a drummer.
This is Henry's debut acting performance. his film and television lessons at Pauline Quirks Academy helped him to prepare for the role and for working on set, which he enjoyed immensely.
VICTOR LOCKHART
Jason Weller
Jason is the first guy who Michael slept with and the only one who knows his secret. He is very mysterious and slightly cheeky in a lovable way.
Victor has always been interested in film and joined a film group when he was 17 where he made professional short films and gained a lot of experience in the industry.He has taken on many roles in film from being a runner, to editing, to recording sound and eventually acting. Since then he has been acting more and more and even set up his own YouTube channel.
MATT MCLACHLAN
Steven Fox
Steven is Brianna's abusive ex-boyfriend. He has a bad drinking habit and has been to jail a few times because of this. Steven is abusive, loud and selfish.
Matt has worked as an stunt assistant on Jurassic World 2, Outlaw King and Mary Queen of Scots. He has worked on various student films as both a lead actor and supporting actor. He has also appeared on River City 4 times.
LINDA KIRKWOOD WELSH
Brianna Anderson
Brianna is David's mum. She was abused by her ex-boyfriend Steven in the past and is therefor very scared to go about her everyday life. She relies on David alot and does not leave the house. Brianna may be shy and timid by she also has a big heart.
Linda worked in theatre and community drama before moving to film only last year. Since then she has developed a passion for filming and is completely fascinated by how a film is created and loves being apart of the process.
